Rest In Peace Roc Dukati

"Last night Boston lost another of the voices from its Hip Hop community. Roc Dukati, an emcee who was one of the key figures in the Life4Life camp (Smoke Bulga, Masspike Miles), was killed in the early morning hours of 3/2/2011 outside Underbar. Roc had just left the record release party for fellow L4Lifer Cambridge rapper, Millyz. His collaborations with artists like Cam’Ron and Vado had helped to bring him into the spotlight as of late. Our deepest condolences go out to Roc’s family and crew during this time. News of Roc’s death hits the Boston scene particularly hard considering the recent death of Mikst Nutz founder and MC, Johnny Hatch. Hatch also died after being shot from an apparent home invasion. Its truly a sad time for the city."
