TMB Presents: "Otisis" Jinesis Produced & Otis Redding Sampled Beat Tape
"Sitting On the Dock of The Bay" has to be one of those pivotal spring/summertime soul anthems. You know it when you hear that infectious bridge part whistled. It conjures all the warm memories of backyard (or stoop) domino games and is about as summer-y as lemonade. Otis Redding's brand of soul music is timeless. When TheMadBloggers.com decided they'd like to re-interpret Otis Reddings timeless soul into the hip-hop realm for Spring/Summer of 2011, they reached out to hip-hop beatmaker Jinesis to craft a mini beat-tape to provide summertime's soundtrack and sonic interludes.
